The most eagerly awaited of the town’s fiestas comes during the week of 28 August (27 August-4 October), the feast of the Stmo. Cristo de los Remedios. A powerful detonation will announce each day, at 11 a.m., the running of six bulls along the 800-metre route of our traditional “pure” running of the bulls.

This has been the case since 1525, the first documented date of this celebration, until today. A long historical succession of colour, risk and mastery that make our city and its fiesta what it is today, one of the most important in Spain, declared of National Tourist Interest.
